Eland was founded in 2009 and listed on AIM in September 2012. Through its joint venture company Elcrest Exploration and Production Nigeria Ltd (Elcrest), the Company acquired an interest in the OML 40 licence in the Niger Delta from Shell in 2012. In 2014, Eland acquired a stake in a second licence, Ubima, which was carved out of OML 17 in the Niger Delta.

Senior Management

The Senior Management team sets our strategic objectives and has overall responsibility for Eland's risk management and internal control systems

Adebayo has over 30 years’ diversified experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, from oil and gas field development to administration and business development.

Adebayo started his career with Ashland and rose to the level of onshore Production Manager before leaving for Texaco Overseas where he served as Head of HR in Warri.

Afterwards, he worked for Moni Pulo and Allied Energy as Executive Director and COO before joining Afren in 2009. He was the Managing Director at Afren from 2011 before joining Oriental Energy O&M Services He joined Eland as Managing Director of Nigerian operations in 2015.

Adebayo has a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Ife and completed a General Management Programme at Harvard University.

The figure of 220,164,155 ordinary shares may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Eland under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.

There are no restrictions on the transfer of Eland Oil & Gas Plc's AIM securities.

Eland Oil & Gas Plc's shares are only traded on AIM, a market operated by the London Stock Exchange Plc and has not applied or agreed to have any of its securities admitted or traded to any other exchange or platform.
