Berkeley Energia tells Australian Exchange it knows of no reason for recent share price rise

Berkeley's share price moved up by almost a third at the end of the first trading week of the year

Berkeley Energia Ltd (LON:BKY) has told the Australian stock exchange in a filing that it knows of no reason for the recent rise in the company’s share price.

Berkeley noted that a major seller had now completed its exit from the company.

In London, the shares jumped from just over 10p to 13.75p on Friday, although they gave up some of those gains in early trading in London on Monday.
