Patrick jumped into journalism more than 25 years ago, spending the bulk of his career with the Associated Press, Dow Jones Newswires and the Wall Street Journal as a reporter, editor and manager. He helped launch and oversee WSJ.com’s Wealth Adviser vertical to provide exclusive content for wealth managers, financial advisors and financial planners. Patrick today specializes in investing, personal-finance and retirement coverage. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in History from Ithaca College. In his free time, Patrick enjoys playing his Telecaster loudly as well as biking and hiking with his wife and two boys.
